Mary Aloe, Producer, reunites with her “Hollywood and Wine” writer / director team, Kevin Farley and Matt Berman to bring the new female-driven political satire comedy - “Stars and Stripes”. The film will shoot in Puerto Rico in the Spring of 2010. We’re really excited to shoot this movie in Puerto Rico exploiting their wonderful tax credit and their astute film crews. The team is getting ready to start casting the two female leads. “I am extremely buzzed to be brought back together with such a fantastic writer / director comedy pair. These men are really talented,” say Aloe. According to the trades, the movie reminds one of “Private Benjamin” meets “Stripes” as 2 Beverly Hills BFF’s think they’re off to a great vacation on a luxury ship to Bora Bora. Unfortunately, they accidentally enlist themselves in the Navy and right on to a Navy flagship headed to Tora Bora where they hook up with some of the planet’s most threatening terrorists and become Navel heroes…or should we are saying heroines.
