Do you agree that the best dramma is a comedy ?

Sometimes , the comedy includes deep messages which make u think about , or sometimes the comedy (And i;m refering at theatre or movie, too ) has an tragycal final ,which might be taken as an advertence . I'm an amateur -actress and that's what I've understand for almost all the comedies i've played until now.
Every actor will tell you that comedy is harder to do than tragedy, but I don't think the best drama is a comedy. Some comedies have no meaning at all ans exist only to make people laugh. There are some that have a meaning, but if there is a death or something like that, now we're talking, literally, of a tragi-comedy. Some of Shakespeare's comedies are not side-splitting funny; they just don't have a body count at the end of the play.

i wouldn't say that the best is always a comedy. comedies are great. they're my favorite genre. but some comedies have no deeper meaning or tragical ending, and they're just rather dumb. and remember, just because something's funny, it doesn't mean it's a comedy.
