A Tip to the Logistics of Fishing Pressure

Bite-ON, Bite-OFF;

A tip to the logistics of fishing pressure

By Gary Anderson

Catching fish or going fishing to your favorite spot is like, well, turning on a light switch; up it is on, down it is off. Fishing pressure, traffic, weather and water conditions can all cause bite-on to bite-off behavior, causing a previous productive fishing pattern to fall apart. Change is not a bad thing if you can read the pattern and understand just what is going on with that area of concern under the surface in that mysterious realm beneath the waves. Like that of a light switch, your hotly tot hole may be a turn on today but tomorrow in is a true turn off dead spot; in a word of why, pressure. Understanding the fish behavior puzzle is to understand the links to fish and the barometer or pressure reader. When in the water any object, including the fish, either sinks, floats to the surface or suspends and even the smallest of change in barometric pressure is to a degree like a change in gravity; because objects weigh less in the water, the affect of a pressure change is far more pronounced beneath the surface than above.

Fish are more in tune to the environment more than we humans are. Fish have an incredible array of pressure-sensing systems; such as the lateral line, which keys them in to changes in barometric pressure and, in turn, signals feeding opportunities or foretells the arrival of major weather changes, in the form of pressure gradients, which then determine on when the “Bite” is either on or off. A drop in pressure, a cold front, can cause tiny particles of sediment as well as zooplankton and phytoplankton’s to float off bottom, rising higher in the water column than they normally suspend which, in turn again creates a reduction in water clarity and usually a bite happens as Glass minnows to Mullet frenzy into a feed. As these species, show movement into that of a theatrical moment so does the feed habits of the predators around them causing all to “Bite On!”

Pressure changes occur on the passage of any front or pressure gradient. It does not have to be a cold front to trigger a bite before; many a time on the water, I have used the forming of a cloud moving towards the boat to switch up to an aggressive angling pattern. As this cloud grows darker and spitting drops from aloft fall, so to does the surrounding pressure under the cloud. Usually the fish will “turn on” but for a moment as it passes by. Be alert to the lightning to move towards safety but work the clouds in the summer much as you would a pattern of diving birds. The key to great fishing is coming up with a good game plan based on forage, structure, seasonal patterns and working on your logistics in fishing weather patterns.

Halloween Make-up Ideas

Posted by admin

Proper utilization of creative Halloween costume make-up helps you to achieve the look which is realistic and that creep out friends as well as family. While it’s true spooky costumes, treats, games, and parties, are the rules and regulations on Halloween party. But when it comes to your costume this Halloween, don’t give in to the urge for buying yet another hot and uncomfortable Halloween mask. Not only it looks fake, but also makes you feel uncomfortably in all evenings as well. Here are some great Halloween costume tips for using makeup for achieving a life-like Halloween appearance in the coming year.

Age yourself to perfection

Do u wish to know how you’ll look like in the next 40 years? Try applying liquid latex wrinkles to your face so that you can get the latex at any halloween costume store, and applying it for the preferred effect that couldn’t be achieved easier:

- Puff up your cheeks and be relevant by applying a thin coat of liquid latex with a small sponge.

- Keep your eyes tightly shut and apply some latex to the lower corners of your eyes.

- Once the latex is dry, releases the air from your cheeks and makes yourself ready and apply a coat of foundation makeup and you can also add some food coloring to the makeup to create a skin tone in your choice of colors.

The latex will make the look of your eyes droopier and saggy and your skin will be crumpled to perfection. Now you can do up from here and additional makeup effects as needed. Here’s also a great trick for adding up a hairy wart to your face. Put a drop of false eyelash glue onto a peppercorn and apply it on your face. Then just glue a few strands from a paintbrush and so you will be the proud owner of a very ugly wart! Just be sure not to put it very close to your eyes or you’l also be the proud owner of swollen and painful eyeballs that may look great but won’t leave you feeling all that well.

Become the Zombie Bride with the Right Make-Up

The zombie bride is an easily achieved effect if the instant idea aging doesn’t demand to you. Other than wearing a dirty and tattered white dress, all you have to do is paint your face and lips white, using theatrical greasepaint, and apply thick black rings around your eyes. Now gel your hair up and run your fingers for generating the worst “bad hair day” you’ve ever had.

Or the Zombie Groom

You can be a zombie groom only if you’re a man. The makeup process is the identical and the look is also great. Consider if you’d rather be a deranged doctor/nurse. Just get a hold of a pair of hospital scrubs and sprinkle your face, hair, and clothing as well with fake blood along. You can also find a good recipe for fake blood in our Halloweenfantasy.com and is an easy effect for attaining the precise output.

The outfit creates a “toga party” looks. Then just paint your face in green, accentuate your eyes with gold, and throw a few rubber snakes in your hair together with it so that you can be seen beautiful and scary at the same time! Whatever you decide to “become” this year will necessitate creativity easily. Put on your costume for letting your thoughts run wild after applying your Halloween makeup. Whilst you decide to drink or eat something in the evening time, definitely you should be thankful, as you didn’t wear a Halloween mask. Also remember Halloween festival is nothing but all about having fun!

Anyone Wanna Buy a System?

Posted by admin

So I got me a little snifter here. Jack’s been working his way through some freebies — a new supplier’s trying to break into supplying the casino. Reckons he needs to make sure all the right people get their taste of the good stuff and we’re both of us out to oblige him. Damn, but some of this stuff is good! Makes me wanna give up the poker and the slot machines, and settle down with a bottle or two to enjoy my retirement. Anyways, the young fellah just called. Caught me in a mellow mood for once. He thinks — well, we can suspend judgement on that for so long as he keeps paying me — he thinks I should explain myself. In one piece I’m saying there’s, “a proper mathematical playing strategy for video poker.” In the next, I’m saying there’s a gambler’s fallacy and you can’t predict the cards. He thinks they doesn’t fit right together. So here’s a few words to make it all crystal. Did you ever see Ocean’s 11 — don’t matter whether it was the original Rat Pack version or the new ones with George Clooney and his pals? Did you notice how they always robbed the casinos. There was never a hint of walking through the door with a system for winning at the tables or on the slot machines. Hollywood got it right for once. The only way you guarantee a big score at a casino is as a thief — and you’ve to be lucky to enjoy your “takings” and avoid the hail of bullets if you get caught by wrong people. Look around online. You’ll see a small army of people touting their systems for beating all casino games with a house advantage. Play slot machines, win big. Win at blackjack without counting. When I was growing up, my mother used to play 78s all the time. She loved the musicals of the 1920s. She’d never been on the chorus line, but she’d a hankering for it. Her parents disapproved of theatrical folk and that was an end of that. Anyways, one of my favorites was Banana Oil — kinda like snake oil but always applied to lounge-lizard lines. “When he tells you, ‘I adore you,’ that’s banana oil.” In other words, everything he said to get his mark into bed was bullshit. Well, the same goes for all these salesmen pushing betting systems for slot machines. They’re trying to scam you outa your money. Take it from me. There ain’t no system around that even dents the House edge on games where the probabilities are set in the House’s favor. Math is math. Mind you. It’s not my money — you wanna fool yourself you can shade the odds in your favor on video poker, then feel free. So, how do these systems work? You’re supposed to base your bets on the most recent outcomes. Take roulette as an example. Wait for a run of blacks, then bet on red — the longer the run, the bigger the bets on red. If you see a pattern emerging, you’re supposed to think that the probabilities of the game itself have changed. When I worked for casinos, we always nodded wisely when someone cautiously asked if they could play a system. Another little chicken ripe for the plucking. My father was counting deaths by the million over decades for the life companies. Probabilities and statistics only make sense in the long view. Short-term, you’ll find anomalies in all slot machines but, over time, the basic patterns are set in stone and in the House’s favor. You’ll see lucky streaks that look like they’re never going to end. But, so long as the House keeps its nerve, the winner will lose it all back again. It’s the same with the so-called systems. They aim to build up the small wins to offset the big losses. If you’ve the bankroll, you can often win over a session. But you’re obsessional kind, ain’t ya? You’ve invested that money in a system. You’re not going to quit while you’re ahead, are you? Which means that any small winnings you picked up on the good days will all get given back to the casinos on the bad days. It’s just the way the House edge works. Like I say, you can’t beat the math. Which leaves me with my strategy, which I’ll get back to when I’m good and ready.

Dubrovnik- Pearl of the Adriatic

Posted by admin

Dubrovnik is a place of history, wealth and culture, being the arts center of Croatia. Many artists, poets and writers originate from the South Coast, making it one of the most popular resorts on the Mediterranean. Dubrovnik is a resort for the elite, with hosts of celebrities holidaying or buying property there. The beauty of this city with its stretches of harbors and stunning coast line makes visiting this wonderful place a must.

Unfortunately, Dubrovnik was hit hard during bombing of the Montenegrin Navy from 1992-1993. Statistics show that almost a third of Dubrovnik’s buildings were damaged during the war, but by visiting the city you would never have thought it. The city has obviously worked extremely hard in restoring its building. Only if you look very hard can you see spots in the cobbles where a bomb has hit or a gun has been fired. Many people would agree that this only gives the city more character.

You won’t be disappointed in the range of activities Dubrovnik has to offer. A must-see attraction has to be Sponza Palace, one of the original buildings to survive the destructive effects of an earthquake in 1667. The Palace is home to important historical documents and is an extremely interesting visit; its amazing gothic architecture is really worth seeing. Another place you should certainly visit is the Church of St. Ignatius and the Jesuit College. This is a beautiful Baroque Church located on a small hill. The exterior and interior is astonishing, and well worth a look. For those interested in this kind of sightseeing, there are countless Churches and monasteries in Dubrovnik to visit.

If you are lucky enough to visit Dubrovnik in the summer months, make sure you make time to go to Dubrovnik Summer Festival. This festival has run every year since 1950, and occupies most of July and August. The festival includes a mix of musical and theatrical performances, all of high quality. The summer months will be busier than the rest of the year, but the vibrant atmosphere of this festival shouldn’t be missed if possible.

Dubrovnik hotels are high in quantity and quality. With hosts of celebrities flocking here for their holidays, there is a high number of 5* hotels in Dubrovnik, perfect to really spoil and indulge yourself. Alternatively, you will be able to find many cheap hotels if you search online.

Malmö: One of Sweden’s Most Exciting Cities

Posted by admin

As the third largest city in Sweden, Malmo is a popular place to visit in Scandinavia. The city is one of the region’s earliest industrial towns; however, the age of post-industrialism has seen Malmo transformed from a hub of manufacturing into a large university town which boasts an impressive world of arts, education and culture.

If you’re visiting Malmo and you want to see the city’s most interesting sights, why not visit Malmohus Castle? Located to the west of Malmo’s old city, this building was first built in 1437 by Erik of Pomerania, before being inhabited by the kings of Denmark in the 1500s and used as a prison until 1914. Today, it is a history and art museum, as well as an aquarium and a terrarium that attracts a range of visitors.

Additionally, when you’re in Malmo, make sure you visit the Mollevangstorget Square, located south of the city centre and which plays host to an open-air market every weekend. Malmo’s newest landmark - the Turning Torso - is well worth a visit too. Completed in 2005, Malmo’s Turning Torso is, at 190m tall, the tallest building in Scandinavia and is visible from almost any part of the city. It even has a waterfront promenade and a state-of-the-art skate park.

Malmo’s cultural attractions will also be of interest to any tourist in the city, whether you pride yourself on being an active culture vulture or you’re merely looking for interesting things to do in Malmo. The Municipal Theatre, for instance, was inaugurated in 1944 and began as a repertory; however, during the 1950s, legendary Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman became its Director and Chief Stage Director and made the institution the site of one of the most important art scenes in the whole of Sweden. Today, the theatre showcases all forms of stage performance, from ballet to opera, and musical recitals to diverse theatrical experiments.

Furthermore, since the 1970s Malmo has also played host to a diversity of musical scenes and talents. Malmo has a long history of rock, dance and dub music, and recent musicians to have played in the city include the likes of B.B. King, Morrissey and Australian signer-songwriter Nick Cave.

If you’re planning to visit Malmo, you’ll find plenty of hotels in Malmo, from which you’ll be able to enjoy all that this exciting city has to offer. Take a trip to Malmo for a Scandinavian city adventure with a difference - you won’t be disappointed!

Cigarettes Advertising: What Is Allowed And What Is Not

Posted by admin

These sponsors would use real cute and catchy phrases or jingles to grab the watchers attention and help the phrase or logo of their brands stick in the minds of the viewers. This was a popular kind of advertising gimmick in those days and sold many, many cigarettes for these companies. Some of these jingles or logos people still remember today.

The Federal Communications Commission around the year 1967 announced that discussion of heath or smoking related ads were not sufficient enough as advertisements that were paid. The Federal Communications Commission, eventually, made TV stations put advertisements for anti smoking with no cost from the organizations that provided these ads for the TV.

A complete ban on all cigarette/tobacco advertising on the TV and radio was passed and put into effect in early 1971. Advertisements which had tobacco that was of the smokeless varieties continued to be able to advertise until the year 1986.

Most all cigarette advertising was done by placing ads on billboards or by having ads in magazines, but to be able to do this they had to have a Surgeon General Warning included within each ad. Packaging of cigarette and tobacco products had to have this warning included within them also.

Some of the don’ts of cigarette advertising include: no advertisements on radio or TV programs or in any magazine publications which have an audience that is under the age of 21, no advertisements on Universities, Colleges or any other Schools in their programs for theatrical performances, sport events etc., comic books cannot have any cigarette ads in them due to the age of the reading audience which is usually under the age of 21, zero cigarette samples can be passed out and given to anyone who is not 21 years old.

Cigarette ads cannot represent cigarette smoking as the way to be cooler, better known to the opposite sex or to get higher up on the social ladder, actors or models in cigarettes ad campaigns have to be at the very least 25 years old and ads cannot depict any of them being described as an athlete or of having been in athletic career fields. To receive a in-depth view of all specific don’t in the cigarette advertising world. You can go to the Federal Communications Commission website and pull them up for viewing.

Some of the do’s of cigarette advertising include: cigarette advertisements can be placed in facilities for only adults, where no children or teenagers under the age of 21 can be admitted. Cigarette and tobacco ads can be placed in a retail establishment as long as it is not displayed on the back or front of any windows, large and regular cigar brands can be advertised via radio or TV, as long as these ads fall under the guidelines and jurisdiction of the FCC.

Manufacturers of cigarettes can place their ads, but will have to pay, in theaters, videos, TV and games for only adult facilities which restriction to all minors is set in force, and ads may be placed in videos as long as they will not get to be distributed out into the general public.

You can check out the FCC website and pull up the entire lists of can do’s for the tobacco advertising industry, this will give you more specific rules and guidelines.
